Week 1 - Day 4.

Today I had my Week One pop-in session.

This was to see if I had gone into fat burning (ketosis). This was checked by urinating on a stick that would change colour showing it there were any ketones contained within.

I went to the darkest level on the scale so that shows there is now no glucose in my body left to burn and now my body is using it's fat stores as fuel. Good stuff.

I wasn't planning on weighing myself until the saturday morning coaching session, but Ruth checked it - 8lbs down. She advised me to expect probably only another couple before saturday's weigh-in. Well, 8lbs is better than nothing so I'm pleased.

I've got a new hybrid cycle on the way, so hopefully I'll be able to get another trip in before weigh-in.

hey mate looks like your doing well already, so well done and keep it up.
Just to point out that water in the foodpacks dont count towards your total intake ;o)
I thought dark pink was dehydrated ? Might be using different sticks to us. But be careful mate. With the additional exercise you will need to compensate for the water loss.

Im maintaining a pretty good intake over here at the mo too, just in support of you hehe.
